You hold your phone near the hive entrance and record a 15-second audio clip inside the app. SunnyBee sends the audio to Google Gemini AI, which analyses the frequency spectrum to detect swarm risk, activity level, queen piping signals, and colony stress level. Results return in about 10 seconds.
Yes. The Flora Discovery feature uses your phone camera and the PlantNet plant identification API to identify plants, show their bloom period, and assess their nectar and pollen value for bees. Results are stored on a per-apiary map so you can build a forage profile over time.
Yes. All inspections, tasks, treatments, and financial records are stored on your device. The app syncs to the cloud automatically when connectivity is restored. Only AI features (voice transcription, sound analysis, flora identification) require an internet connection at time of use.
